School Photos Are Easy, but Studio Portraits Are Personal: Yesterday, a few parents were asking about school photo day, and I get it. You do not have to take the photos yourself, the school handles getting your child to the photographer, and you are notified when the photos are ready. Easy, peasy. But school picture day is designed to photograph hundreds of children in a short amount of time. In the studio, my sessions are designed for intimacy, comfort, and connection. We take the time to capture your child’s personality, natural expressions, and genuine moments. There is room here to laugh, move, explore, and let kids be themselves. They are the star of their own production. They do not stand in line waiting for their five-second turn, wondering what the result will look like. An Experience That Belongs to Your Child In the studio, your child can see the result in the moment, feel important, and leave happy. Some children need a little time to get comfortable and warm up. Others, like my granddaughter, jump right in, vogue like a pro, and finish the session within 15 minutes. The time is yours; the experience is yours. The results are completely yours. I bought the backdrop because I fell in love with it. It says fun, fall, and welcome. My goal is to create an enjoyable session without time restraints or stress.
